Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Junior Data Engineer to join our team. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems. For example, you’ll create algorithms and conduct statistical analysis. Overall, you’ll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals. 
To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills also include familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of learning machine methods. 

Major Duties 

• Analyze and organize raw data from internal and clients provided, like POS transactions, Products exported from inventory system, Promotions exported, Digital Circular exported file, …. 
• Build data pipelines, data integration in the database and data warehouse using our tech stacks: Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Cosmos Database, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, Elastic AppSearch, PowerBI, SQL Server, … 
• Conduct complex data analysis and report on results. 
• Combine raw information from different sources. 
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability. 
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition. 
• Develop analytical tools and programs. 
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. 
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects. 
• Ability to coordinate and manage the team to execute 
• Work with team to monitor and maintain data processes 

Key Requirements

Education/Experience Required 

• At least 1 years of experience working as a team leader in relavant role
• Have working experience in ECommerce, CRM, Marketing and Inventory Management
• Hands-on experience with SQL database and Data Warehouse design 
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques 
• Having working experience in BackEnd, US Market, Product development is a big plus 

Knowledge/Skills Required 

• Great numerical and analytical skills 
• Good English verbal communication is a big plus 
• Knowledge of programming languages
