This role focuses on building a robust big data platform to combat malware, botnets, cyber-fraud, and more.

Our Threat Intelligence Business Unit, an award-winning provider based in Barcelona and Hanoi, is looking for a skilled applicant to manage our team. This role requires extensive experience in team management and technology leadership, with a proactive mindset and customer-centric approach.

As Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of 7-10 engineers, ensuring their growth and happiness. Responsibilities include project delivery, solution quality, hiring, and team performance, collaborating closely with product managers to prioritize tasks. Reporting to the CTO, you'll oversee the development of scalable services in Python, Golang, and/or Java, emphasizing DevOps practices and operational reliability.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in managing agile teams, coaching engineers, and delivering complex, scalable systems in hybrid cloud environments
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and modern software architecture
• Minimum 5 years in senior software engineering or DevOps roles
• Data-driven with a focus on quality and ownership
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
• Fluent in English, with flexibility to align with CET time zones and occasional travel requirements

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with cybersecurity
• Experience with Graph Databases and event streaming systems
• Exposure to machine learning
