Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a QA Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products are of high quality and meet customer expectations. You will be responsible for leading the QA team, developing quality assurance processes and strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects. Resonbilities
- Lead the QA team and oversee the development of test plans, test cases, and defect tracking processes
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards, strategies, and methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and engineering, to ensure software meets product requirements and is defect-free prior to release
- Manage and report on quality metrics, including defect trends and defect reduction progress
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions for software defects
- Develop and implement training programs for QA team members and other stakeholders on quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and automated testing techniques
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience leading and managing QA teams
- Experience with testing web-based applications, APIs, and mobile applications
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
