Principal iOS Native Engineer (Swift)

A leading B2B SaaS company in the construction tech space, operating across international markets with a squad-based engineering culture. The team works in small, cross-functional squads that own the full lifecycle from design and development through to testing and operations. The company places strong emphasis on mobile-first product development and continuous adoption of emerging technologies.

We are looking for a Principal iOS Native Engineer (Swift) to join our mobile engineering team and play a leading role in developing and evolving our iOS native applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define requirements, shape technical direction, and deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing product features using Swift and mobile technologies including Flutter, refactoring existing applications, improving performance, and reducing regression testing overhead through well-structured test code. You will also lead high-performance design and development of camera modules and drawing functions, and contribute to API design and backend integration.

As a technical lead, you will conduct regular code reviews, mentor team members, drive best practices in mobile security and scalability, and stay current with the latest industry trends to continuously improve the product and development process. The assigned product will be determined based on the candidate's skills, preferences, and internal team structure.

• 8+ years of experience in iOS native application development using Swift

• Experience in Clean Architecture design with SOLID principles, and the ability to select appropriate frameworks and technologies based on application requirements

• Experience as a technical lead throughout the full project development lifecycle

• Strong ability to produce high-quality code with a focus on security, performance, and scalability

• Excellent algorithmic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Experience handling scalability challenges in line with service growth

• Proficiency with UIKit and SwiftUI

• Experience with asynchronous and reactive programming (e.g. RxSwift)

• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs

• Strong discipline in writing test code and ensuring code quality

• Knowledge of mobile application security best practices

• Ability to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Experience participating in software development planning to meet quality and delivery targets

• Strong communication skills in both English and with cross-functional stakeholders
