Job Overview and Responsibilities

  • Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve
  • Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates
  • Analyze and propose educational solution design for new features
  • Provide supervision and guidance to development teams
  • Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed with Head of Engineering and CTO
  • Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
  • Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of working as a solution architect or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge in algorithm and data structure, complexity analysis, design pattern, distributed system, micro-service architecture and patterns
  • Strong knowledge in system architecture using cloud solutions
  • Good critical thinking and strongly independent analysis capacity
  • In-depth understanding of programming language principles
  • Good knowledge of various operating systems, network and databases
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills is a plus point
