Responsibilities:

• Utilize RxJava and/or Kotlin for design and coding tasks.
• Collaborate with mobile, backend engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to plan and execute features.
• Actively engage in code and design reviews to uphold development standards.
• Generate innovative ideas, address issues, and implement solutions for scalability and performance.
• Take initiative in enhancing the codebase and suggesting better engineering approaches.
• Demonstrate accountability and responsiveness during on-call duties, proficient in debugging and troubleshooting production issues.
• Offer technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to colleagues.

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of Android development experience (preferably Kotlin, but Java experience is acceptable).
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures.
• Experience leading end-to-end feature development.
• Proficiency in managing large-scale applications and familiarity with tools like crash analytics, remote debugging, and continuous integration.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and design thinking.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD implementation.
• Highly accountable and takes ownership of work.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
• Enthusiastic about learning, taking on more responsibility, and making an impact on a large user base.
